Devil’s Food – McGriddle your way to a slow death April 21, 2007

Devil’s Food, originally uploaded by DYFL.

McGriddle, the Devils food. I like the Brand “M” branded on the “Griddle” or pancake part.

The maple flavor as I understand is built into the “pancake”, wow that’s a real food hack!.

Never has one myself, here are the stats:

SAUSAGE, EGG, AND CHEESE McGriddle (Check the Sodium……)

FAT: 33 G.
SODIUM: 1290 MG.

Mmmmm – hmmm! Those boys in the backroom at McD’s must have had a massive salt mountain to get rid of…

Sodium content x 2.5 = salt content
So the salt content here is 3.225 grams

In the UK, the Recommended Daily Intake of salt is 6 grams, so this lovely product gives you more than half the salt you’ll need in the day in one hit!

And so kind of them, in one small package, to include over half of the recommended daily dose of saturated fats for women, and over a third of a man’s needs.

You’ve really got to hand it to those guys!

Thanks for highlighting this one!

Kind Regards

Thanks for the comment Thomas. It is a shock when you see the numbers. Even for you a man with the last name of Hamburger! No association I am sure to McD’s.

No association at all, thankfully! Although as I’m writing about Harry McFry, I can see how subliminally you’d be thinking “Do you want McFry’s with that?” 🙂

Kind Regards

If eating the McGriddle is wrong… I don’t wanna be right.
