Nice image from Monaco. If you got it flaunt it. Hey if you can’t afford the car a 2 night stay at the Hotel Paris with breakfast is only 634 euro.

Great shot from Judo Dad on Flickr. My idea of Game Day snacks, sans Doritos.

Really, organized religion needs to work on it’s image. The wacko right wing evangelicals add there own flavor to things but this guy needs a makeover. You know having the image of  Satan handing down the message of Jesus on an English street just doesn’t cut it for most of us sane folk.

Sons with Guns (Four of Seven), originally uploaded by shadowplay.
An image full of impact from “Shadowplay” on Flickr. The gun is the boys hand, the strewn dolls on the ground, the expression on the old man’s face. It leaves you thinking why are these people together in this scene, great shot.

PART ONE

A great analysis and commentary by Rob Ager. If you have seen A Clockwork Orange, and I recommend that you do.A lot of the symbolism doesn’t reveal itself in the first screening since you tend to be taken aback by the shocking violence. Kubrik was ahead of his time, from Dr. Stranglove to the Shining, 2001 A Space Odessey, Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide shut, these were films that changed how we looked at society and our own existance and Rob Ager reveals a lot of the symbolism that interconnects these films. I am not sure about the connections between Kubrik and his conspiracy theories and the Illuminati but they appear to be a common thread in his films….maybe Kubrik was messing with us.

Part two of the review is below. I recommend it.

Elvis never looked so good. Well at least the Jelly Belly Elvis.

He did do a great rendition of “Tutti Frutti”

Got a gal named Sue
She knows just what to do
She rocks to the east
She rocks to the west
She’s the gal I love best

I got a gal named Daisy
She almost drives me crazy
She knows how to love me
Yes indeed, boy you don’t know
What she does to me

I like this image a lot since it seems somewhat surreal and hyper realistic. I am also a scuba diver so I appreciate the location of the shot.
